Ham Wall RSPB Reserve Dawn Dragonfly Workshop 

Four spotted Chaser dragonflies emerging in their thousand. An opportunity to catch these beautiful dragonflies in pristine condition shortly after emergence before wings become damaged and covered in cobwebs. Also because these are one of the earliest dragonflies to emerge we can get some really cool evenings creating perfect conditions for great dew covered shots. This is a pre dawn start. Arrive 30 minutes before sunrise so that we are in position for the first rays. 

Numbers are kept small so that I can spend time with everyone to help get the perfect shot.

Workshop duration is around three hours. 

DSLR/Mirrorless cameras with macro lenses are ideal although other combinations can produce good images. Please contact me here to discuss other options to ensure you get the most out of this workshop.

Wear wellington boots. Waterproof trousers may also be useful.

Emergence times of dragonflies can vary. In the event that emergence has not started on your chosen date, you may choose from a full refund or an alternative date.
