Cam Valley Arts Trail 2020
The eighth Cam Valley Arts Trail takes place over the period Saturday 31st October 2020 to Sunday 8th November. Because of Coronavirus, this years Arts Trail will be an online event. You can see the work of all artists on the CVAT website through the link below. I will be showing my work on the CVAT website and also on this website. All images can be purchased in any size. See further information on her or the CAVAT site or contact me direct using this my contact form.
The CVAT website will be showing a video that I recorded on taking backlit images and will show some of the processing I carry out using Canon DPP which is the free software provided by Canon. As part of the event I will also be allowing limited, pre-booked access to my workshop in my home which consists of two computers in a corner! Visitors will be able to see and purchase some of my completed works ie mounted and/or framed or discuss requirements for new orders. Gift cards will also be available as will the opportunity to see how I process my images or discuss photography techniques. Please see the CVAT website for details during the event or contact me direct using my contact form.
Macro Workshops 2020
All workshops for 2020 have now been cancelled due to coronavirus. Going forward I am now able to offer workshops for limited numbers to allow for social distancing and and Government rules. This is of course always subject to change due to circumstances. I am therefore not requiring payment in advance for any bookings made at present and until circumstances change cash payment on the day will be accepted.
Wildflower (including orchids), dragonfly and butterfly workshops will recommence in spring 2021. I can also tailor workshops to meet your requirements, such as searching for target species or I can conduct nature walks with or without photography instruction. Because of the current restrictions please contact me initially using my contact form with your enquiry or requirements.
The advertised workshops will take place in the field and will provide practical advice on camera settings, composition and various macro techniques. Workshops will commence before dawn to make the best use of the first light. Locations have been selected to ensure good numbers of subjects.
