I visit a private field that holds thousands of green-winged orchids in early spring. We will arrive half an hour before sunrise and check out suitable compositions ready for sunrise.

Full photography tuition will be given on techniques to capture some amazing shots.

I provide a mat to lie on to protect you from most of the dew, but it is advisable to wear wellies and waterproofs if you have them. It can still be cold at this time of year so wear warm clothing.

Workshops last 2-3 hours depending on light and the cost includes all necessary permits to visit the site.

The best equipment for this workshop is  DSLR or mirrorless camera with a macro lens. Contact me if you have other equipment to discuss the options. I can hire out a Canon camera and professional macro lens if required.

Dates are flexible and can be re-arranged should the weather conditions be unfavourable.
